Smaller Is Better? WOW!

I usually try to help people think big.

What is at this link is a most amazing thing that shows the power and ability of the human being.

Smaller Is Better? WOW!

Smaller Is Better? WOW!

Because of the Conquering Force within each of us we can accomplish anything IF we want it badly enough regardless of the apparent barriers.

Never doubt that you have what it takes!

“The starting point of all achievement is desire.
Weak desires bring weak results just as small
amounts of fire makes a small amount of heat.
When your desires are strong enough you will
appear to possess superhuman powers to achieve.”

Napoleon Hill

This is the awesome, never-quit attitude that Core Desires bring with them.

    Hi Jack

I went to one of your seminars with my parents. In Melbourne, Australia. I forget when it would have been. In 2000 maybe? [I kept the ticket even! June 23 was the Melbourne one. Doesn’t have a year on it though] You were AMAZING. Last night I was going through an old file of ‘prsonal development’ stuff and I found some notes that I wrote from your seminar were in there. Triggered me to ‘find’ you again.

I know a few of my CORE DESIRES (but maybe they aren’t 100 on the scale? Why not? I want them to be)

    1) To be a paramedic. To be the best paramedic I can be. I’m starting my Graduate Ambulance Paramedic Program with Ambulance Victoria in about a month after having recently completed a 3 year undergraduate paramedic degree. I’m very excited, but also very scared about the unknown that awaits me. “Can I do it?… or will I be crap at it?” I struggle to believe in me. Other people believe in me. But is that useless unless I believe in me too?

    2) To be an (age group) endurance athlete. Ironman Triathlon is what I want to do, actually. 3.8km swim, 180km bike, 42.2km run. It seems like its impossible at the moment though. I’m 15’ish kg overweight. I can’t run very far. I’m a good swimmer, but a slow one, and ditto on the bike.

I’m struggling though. I’m (still) an over-thinker, a procrastinator, a perfectionist… I know what I need to do but I’m just not doing it. I really should not be still 15 kg overweight, when I was at this same point 10 yrs ago (I’m 29 now). Why am I delaying long term pleasure for sake of short term pleasure?

I hope you’re well, Jack. You coming to Australia again anytime in near future?

PS. I’m *not* that lady in Australia you refer to who owns 1500 self-help books. Geez. Is that really true?
